Presentación sobre Diversidad en el Arbitraje

It was great discussing diversity and inclusion at the19th ICC Arbitration Miami Conference, in a panel entitled “It is hard to be what you cannot see”. Starting by understanding that diversity has to be defined in wider terms, the question is how to take the discussion to the next level. It should be clear by now that diversity and inclusion are necessary for social justice and sustainability. A less debated aspect is increased innovation, productivity and resilience within organizations. It allows us to take advantage of all talent available and, considering the complexity of the challenges business and the world are facing, there is no talent to waste. Thus, it is a matter of social justice, sustainability yet also a business case. It was a pleasure sharing the panel with Cindy R. and Cecilia Alemany, with inspiring moderation by diversity and inclusion champion Claudia Salomon. Many thanks for the invitation to ICC ArbitrationArbitralWomenArbitration Pledge, WOMEN WAY IN ARBITRATION – WWA LATAMMaría Inés CorráRekha RangachariNoiana Marigo and Verónica Sandler. Many thanks to all who gave me feedback to enrich the view before and after the panel.
